About This Site
This site is maintained by Lisa Graas, a Catholic convert and a mom of four.

I am just a lay Catholic mom.  Nothing special about me, really, but I am involved in a lot of things online.  This is just one of many projects.  I will list others below.  I started this site because I realized that at the parish level we hear an awful lot about vocations from our priests, but not much (if anything) from the parents.  Also, I confess, I made this site after I got angry about something.  I got angry when I overheard another Catholic say something disparaging about the celibacy of priests.  I was at a sports event and I overheard it from a person three rows of bleachers behind me!   I was appalled that a fellow Catholic attacked the priesthood so vocally in public.  I decided to be vocal myself, so after standing up and telling that person that my own celibacy (since my divorce) has brought me closer to God, etc., I decided to build this website.

I am a lay person who cherishes the gift of vocations in the Church, and I am here to say so publicly.  And to that person who said those awful things?  Thanks for inspiring me to work diligently to prove you wrong.
